Ruth Katz is vice president of the Aspen Institute, executive director of its Health, Medicine & Society Program, and director of Aspen Ideas: Health, where she convenes leaders and experts around major health, medicine, science, and policy challenges. She previously served as dean and Walter G. Ross Professor of Health Policy at George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health, associate dean for administration at Yale School of Medicine, and chief public health counsel to the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee.
