Terms of use

Effective May 6, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Orply, a product and service operated by Northbrook PBC. By reading Orply, creating an account, or receiving Orply emails, you agree to these terms.

The service

Orply publishes Articles, Briefs, and future Syntheses that report what leading sources are saying across fast-moving fields. The service is editorial and informational. It is not legal, financial, medical, investment, or professional advice.

Accounts

You may create an account with email or Google sign-in to follow industries, receive Briefs, search the archive, and manage alerts. You are responsible for access to your account. We may restrict or suspend accounts used to abuse the service, interfere with delivery, or violate these terms.

Individual access

Orply is free for individual readers. Creating an individual account does not create a paid subscription or a Business relationship. Company deployments, team use, and commercial arrangements are handled separately through Orply for Business.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, bulk copy, resell, republish, or redistribute Orply content without written permission. Do not use Orply to bypass third-party access restrictions, violate source rights, or interfere with the site, account system, email delivery, or underlying infrastructure.

Content and attribution

Orply cites, quotes, summarizes, translates, and links to third-party sources for editorial purposes. Third-party material remains owned by its respective owners. Orply's original writing, structure, compilation, and product format are owned by Northbrook PBC.

Email

If you sign up for Orply, we may send Briefs, alerts, account messages, and operational notices. You can unsubscribe from content emails. We may still send transactional messages required to operate your account or respond to your requests.

Business use

Orply for Business is governed by a separate agreement. The Business page is an inquiry surface, not an automatic purchase flow. A company may not deploy Orply internally, distribute it across a team, or represent it as part of another product without a written agreement.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause, or remove features, content, and delivery surfaces as Orply develops. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Your continued use of Orply after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimers

Orply is provided as is and as available. We work to keep the service accurate, available, and properly attributed, but we do not guarantee that every edition will be complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted.
