$60 Million Free Curriculum Bets Science Learning Starts With Spectacle
In a TED talk, former NASA engineer and science YouTuber Mark Rober argues that science education should win students’ attention before introducing abstraction. He is putting $60 million into Class CrunchLabs, a free grades 3–8 curriculum built around high-production videos, teacher materials, training and hands-on classroom demonstrations.
