Renee Montgomery Took an Ownership Role to Help Run the Atlanta Dream

Renee Montgomery says she did not plan to retire from the WNBA in 2020; she left the court after learning retirement was required to pursue an ownership stake in the Atlanta Dream. She also argues that women’s sports need investment and greater visibility to sustain their growth.
