Jane Weru is a lawyer, social entrepreneur, and the Executive Director and founding member of Akiba Mashinani Trust, a Kenyan nonprofit that supports community-led housing, land-tenure, and anti-eviction solutions for marginalized urban communities, including residents of Nairobi informal settlements such as Mukuru.
