James Evans

James Evans is the Max Palevsky Professor of Sociology and Data Science at the University of Chicago, Director of Knowledge Lab, Faculty Director of Computational Social Science, and an External Professor at the Santa Fe Institute. His research uses large-scale data, machine learning, and generative models to study collective knowledge, human understanding, scientific discovery, and human-AI collaboration.
