Beth Bechky

Beth Bechky is a professor and Stephen G. Newberry Chair in Leadership at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. An organizational ethnographer, she studies the future of work, occupations, collaboration, technological change, and how workers build expertise and coordinate problem-solving in organizations; she was named a 2024 Microsoft Research AI & Society Fellow to study creative work in a world of generative AI.
