Alexis Hiniker

Alexis Hiniker is an Associate Professor in the University of Washington Information School, Ph.D. Program Chair, and Director of the User Empowerment Lab. Her human-computer interaction research examines how everyday technologies—including AI systems, conversational agents, social media, and children’s technology—affect user autonomy, well-being, and youth digital experiences.
